We have loved our vacations at Diamond Hawaii Resorts for over 10 years. Our family travels to Diamond's Kaanapali Beach Club (KBC) on Maui yearly. First, the staff is wonderful. Each year the concierge helped us find age appropriate activities for our two kids from when they were 1 year to 11. From the front desk, restaurant, concierge and cleaning staff, you won't find a friendlier or more helpful staff anywhere.
One benefit of Diamond is the flexibility. We've stayed at the Point of Poipu in Kaui and a couple of the Arizona Diamond resorts using our points. We enjoyed ourselves at those properties also.
Now with the kids older and not available to travel as much, we are reducing our ownership and number of points. We acquired points over the years. Too bad we didn't know about Buyatimeshare.com years ago. We would have built our points using them instead of Diamond. Ownerships/points are much cheaper and you don't have to deal with the Diamond sales staff.
We hope another family will buy or rent our ownership/points. Make an offer. Seller willing to negotiate. Then have wonderful vacations and memories as we have had over the years.
