Owner Description

Samoset is a five star resort, outdoor tennis & swimming pools. The finest golf course in the entire State of Maine. Indoor pool and sauna, well-equipped gym. Excellent area restaurants. The February week, the Camden Snow Bowl, is 3 miles down the road. From the top of the mountain you can be viewing the ocean below. Beginner to expert trails, annual toboggan competition. Biking and hiking trails & opportunities abound. Camden Opera House has excellent productions throughout the year. Arts theater in downtown Rockland, Air Museum in Owls Head. Many wind jam tours originate in Rockland. I have been on several. Quaint & quiet, not over crowded. 3.5 hour scenic casual coastal drive up from Boston. Plenty of activities for children, yet comfortable for older adults. My twice annual spiritual retreat, week #8 February & #38 September, same ideal unit both weeks. Owned since 1983, maintenance is superb.
