Westgate Blue Tree is on the Disney side of Interstate 4, so the resort is only about two miles from Disney Springs – considered the closest of the Disney properties. Even with traffic, the resort is only about a 15 minute drive to the Magic Kingdom.

The villas at Westgate Blue Tree are spacious, multi-room units ranging from one-bedroom to two-bedroom deluxe, condo-style vacation apartments.  Units are from 600 to 1,000 square feet in area with living rooms, dining areas and fully equipped kitchens to prepare those healthy meals and save on food costs.

Air conditioning keeps you cool from the Florida heat and the Wi-Fi keeps you connected with envious friends and family back home. Relax on the balcony or patio and the larger units include in-unit washer and dryer for even more convenience. Sofa beds expand the occupancy of the unit - letting you bring up to six people on vacation.

Westgate Blue Tree resort does not provide a shuttle to the Disney theme parks and refers guests to ride sharing services such as Uber and Lyft. Costs for these services are about $10-15 which is about half the cost of a taxi ride. Timeshare guests with their own transportation or rental car are looking at parking costs at the Magic Kingdom of about $25 for the day.

The resort provides you with everything you’ll need for a terrific Orlando vacation. You will have a choice of four swimming pools, Jacuzzi and children’s pool to use depending on your family’s needs. Get in a workout in the fitness center or grab a game of basketball, volleyball or tennis. The kids can play on the playground and they’ll love the games in the arcade. There’s even mini-golf and a pool table.

Because you are only a couple of miles away from Disney Springs, you’ll have easy access to the restaurants and entertainment venues of this special destination.

You can sell your Westgate Blue Tree timeshare in a few different ways. Essentially there are three ways to sell, either by using your own means to promote your timeshare, using the services of a timeshare resale advertising company or using a timeshare broker. All three come with certain advantages depending on your level of engagement and the costs involved.

If you are considering selling your Westgate timeshare on your own, think about the methods you have at your fingertips. You could use social media outlets to promote your timeshare or let you friends and family know your timeshare is for sale. There are also traditional advertising mediums such as newspapers or magazines, but you need to ask yourself where the buyers are looking for timeshares? Are they really looking at newspapers? Do your friends really want it?

Using an advertising service such as an online company specializing in timeshare resales will let you promote your ownership to potential buyers who are actively looking for timeshares. These companies use search engine marketing tactics to engage with consumers and draw them into their websites. You’ll have the ability to negotiate your sale yourself by conversing directly with the prospective owner to come to an agreement. Timeshare brokers are another option. They operate similar to a traditional real estate agent but they specialize in timeshares. You would hire them to market your ownership and negotiate the sale. The main drawback is the cost, which can be as much as 15 percent of the sale price or $1,500, whichever is greater. These costs can be much higher than the cost of advertising, and most brokers only want to work with the most popular branded timeshares from the larger hospitality chains.

Remember that Westgate does not have an in-house resale department so they cannot help you sell your Westgate Blue Tree timeshare. They state that they do not work with third-party companies to help you sell, so contacting them will only leave you looking for more options.
