Summer Bay Resort is on the western edge of State Rd 192 (Irlo Bronson Highway) and about seven miles or a 12-minute drive to Disney World property at Animal Kingdom. To get to the Magic Kingdom, you will have about a 20-minute ride using the Western Way route.

Orlando airport is about 27 miles, or a 35-minute drive, from Summer Bay resort. The resort does not provide a shuttle service from the resort to the airport, but ride share services, taxis and rental cars are all available at the airport. Taxi fare can be as high as $75 whereas an Uber fare can be about half the cost of a taxi. Private transportation can also be booked from the resort.

Yes, Summer Bay operates shuttle service to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom on Disney property as well as Universal Studios.  Guests will need to show their room key in order to board the shuttle.

The condo accommodations come in one- and two-bedroom layouts with living room and dining areas, full kitchen, balcony overlooking the lake or gardens and even washer/dryer for even more convenience. There are two restaurants, a Tiki Bar and a café/snack bar at the resort. The Big Kahuna Poolside Bar and Grill is great for your casual fare, while the Pizza Loretta Italian Kitchen provides a more traditional dining option. Kokomo's Lakeside Tiki Bar is perfect for your favorite beverage, while you can grab your favorite Starbucks drink at Hello Coffee Shop – which also has amazing bakery items along with grab and go items and breakfast sandwiches.
