Pure golf isn't about pomp & panache. It's not about elitism, knickerbockers or glitz. It's about conquering 27 holes as designed by Johnny Miller & Chi Chi Rodriguez. It's about the unhinged game and the grit to beat the course. It's about communing with the desert through its canyons, arroyos, and washes. It's about you getting that ball to the green. It's about pure golf.
Palm Valley opened in 1989 as the first of the three courses. This par-72 course is the Golf-Summerlin's longest, playing to 6,580 yards, and its rating/slope of 72/127 also ranks it as the toughest. The mature layout is neatly manicured with undulating fairways and rolling greens. Palm Valley's four par 5's are short to medium in length; the longest two open and close the round. The 1st hole measures 537 yards; the 18th plays 534 yards. The finishing hole is a slight dogleg right with water to the right from tee to green and out-of-bounds left, so a premium is placed on accuracy. Fairway bunkers left also come into play, and the green is further guarded by bunkers left and back. The 177-yard 3rd hole is the shortest of the four par 3s. The 16th hole plays a demanding 229 yards to an elevated green guarded by three bunkers left and a sharp drop off to the right. Palm Valley's ten par 4s give players a good chance to try out all their shot-making skills. The par 4s measure nicely across the spectrum from the shortest, the 343-yard 14th hole, to the longest, the 454-yard 5th hole that is rated the toughest on the course. Water extends from the tee about 50 yards out, while the fairway doglegs right and five bunkers right guard the turn. The green is well-protected by three bunkers tight and in back.
Highland Falls is one of the sportiest layouts in the Valley. The par-72, 6,512-yard course lies at an elevation of 3,053 feet, which means it offers stunning panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley. The front nine features rolling hills, which get steeper on the back nine. The four par 5s all play more than 520 yards. Two of the par 4s, the 4th and 6th holes, play 432 and 421 yards respectively, while the other eight all play less than 390 yards, but with the elevation changes, strategic fairway bunkering and well-bunkered greens, they all present fair challenges. Three of the four par 3s play less than 170 yards, while the 14th hole plays 206 yards. From the tee, one of the highest golfing points in the Valley, players can look down to the southeast and see the entire city. The eighteenth hole is a great test for golfers. The par-4 dogleg right plays 387 yards. Water runs from tee to green on the right, while the left is guarded by native landscaping. The green is well protected by twin sloping bunkers on the left and lake on right.
Soar more than 100 floors above the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower and enjoy panoramic views of the shimmering Las Vegas Strip and Valley. But that's just the beginning.
Speed - The Ride is a state-of-the-art roller coaster and the hottest thrill ride in Las Vegas! Seasoned roller coaster lovers and adventurous first-timers will love every thrill, turn, and hair-raising chill. Get your ticket and discover why Speed ? The Ride was named Las Vegas' best attraction by Vegas.com and the Las Vegas-Review Journal. The need for speed begins inside the NASCAR Cafe, where an extraordinary electromagnetic force slingshots the coaster out of its launch site and over the first hill at breathtaking speeds. A steep drop follows as passengers plummet 25 feet below the surface through a misty underground tunnel before catapulting back above the ground and through a breathtaking loop. The coaster then accelerates from 35 mph to 70 mph in just two seconds as it whips through the Sahara's 192-foot-tall marquee. Then, just before curving around the porte-cochere and up a dramatically steep incline, it stops 224 feet above the ground, carrying passengers back through the same exhilarating path, only this time in reverse. Get ready to scream! And don't forget to check out your souvenir photo once the ride is over.

No matter how many times you play the course at the Siena Golf Club, your experience will be unique. When the panoramic setting of the greens, bunkers, and water hazards is combined with the desert mountain scenery, the effect is different with every game. In the morning, the cool breeze coming off the lush grass makes for a comfortable game whether it is the height of summer or the dead of winter. In the afternoon, the unvarnished sunlight creates a stark contrast between the green, the rough, and the sand traps. Near twilight, orange and purple colors create an effect that has to be seen in person, and more than once.

Opened in 1945, the Casey O' Callahan-designed Las Vegas Golf Club is among the oldest golf courses in Sin City. It's a player-friendly municipal golf course and the recipient of a recent $5 million facelift that included several course improvements and a new clubhouse. Low scores are possible at Las Vegas Golf Club, with only a few trees dotting the open fairways. There also aren't many bunkers on the fairways to trip up duffers, though 30 hazards guard the greens. Watch out for the second hole, the longest hole on the course at 503 yards. A few trees guard the turn on this slight dogleg par 5, but the fairway is ample, and the green is guarded by a lone bunker to the left. Las Vegas Golf Club also has two other par 3s to keep players honest and six par 4s, the longest of which is the 438-yard, dogleg left No. 8. It's the golf course's No. 1 handicap hole.
