Camarillo Springs Golf Course, nestled at the base of Conejo Mountain in Camarillo, California, lies just 45 miles north of Los Angeles and 45 miles south of Santa Barbara, just off the 101 freeway. Cut in and around the towering rock formations of the mountain, Camarillo Springs gets its name from the beautiful water features on the course. You'll enjoy gentle ocean breezes as you make your way around the course, which was designed by Ted Robinson in 1970, especially during the hot months when Camarillo is typically 10-15 degrees cooler than Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, or even Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks.
After a $6.5 million dollar renovation, including complete re-routing of the golf course and new playing surfaces, Buenaventura Golf Course opened in March of 2005. With large bent grass greens, coupled with emerald green rye grass fairways, Buenaventura is one of the finest municipal courses in the Southland. With subtle undulations and contours, all the greens have been re-sculpted using classic Bell designs. Beautiful mature trees line Buenaventura's pristine fairways, while white sand bunkers guard the greens. Buenaventura Golf Course is located in the beautiful beachside community of Ventura, California.
