Don't miss experiencing North Carolina's only known Natural Gravitational Anomaly. Discovered in the 1920's on the hillside in the historic Hudson Apple Orchard this amazing Natural Phenomenon has amazed visitors since it was first opened to the public in 1948. Mystery Hill in Blowing Rock has grown over the past 70 years to include many different family-friendly attractions, and the Gravitational Anomaly believed to be caused by the dense iron deposits in the hillside continues to draw visitors from all of over the world every year.
This facility opened in 1963. The club consists of the 18-hole golf course, club house with large upstairs dinning facility for special events or occasions, proshop, snack bar, driving range, golf shed and putting green.
Moses H. Cone Memorial Park, near Blowing Rock, North Carolina on the Blue Ridge Parkway, preserves the country estate of Moses Cone, a prosperous textile entrepreneur, conservationist, and philanthropist of the Gilded Age. Its centerpiece is Flat Top Manor, a gleaming white 20-room, 13,000 square foot mansion built in 1901 in the grand Colonial Revival style.
Designed by Donald Ross in 1924, the championship 18-hole course at the Linville Golf Club is open to members and to guests of The Eseeola Lodge. Players are surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and a creek that winds its way across the beautifully conditioned fairways.
